Isn’t this really low? I had a big thanksgiving meal plus chocolate cake. Probably ate about 1500 calories worth. It was only two hours ago. I’m not overweight.

I need help baking a homemade birthday cake?

I want to make a homemade birthday cake but I want it to be just as good if not better than a bakery would make it. I need recipe ideas for the cake and the frosting. I can decorate it myself. I prefer butter cream frosting and white or chocolate cake. It needs to be all homemade though. Thanks

Baileys Icing for cake?

Okay so I’ve recently started baking and I made this chocolate peppermint cake for Christmas that all the family loved. Now my parents anniversary is coming up and my mom really wants a cake with Baileys incorporated into it somehow because she tried one with Baileys icing at some restaurant and really liked it. So I was thinking of doing that for them. So two questions:How exactly would I make the icing? And what cake flavor do you think would be best for this? Thanks.

Christmas is coming. Need to use up caramels. Got a recipe???

I bought caramels for halloween to do caramel covered apples, but never got around to it. Now money is very tight (Helped a relative in need) so I want to use the caramels when it comes to treats to give out, but I need some ideas. I’m making Chocolate Covered Pretzles(white and milk chocolate), Peanut Butter Balls, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Jan Hagel (an OLD family recipe, like a butter cookie), and Mexican Wedding Cakes. Any suggestions how to use up the caramels, cheaply???

I want to make a chocolate cake from scratch for my niece’s first birthday but have never done that before?

I have made cake from mixes where I add water, oil, and eggs so I figure that can be a back up if I mess up.

I’ll be using two round pans and one will be fore her and the other will be for the adults.

Its always been a tradition for my family on christmas eve to make a chocolate log cake with nabisco chocolate wafers and whipped cream. Last year I was diagnosed with celiac disease and last christmas i just missed out.
Are there any good gluten free substitutes that I can use?
