I’ve tried other GF cake mixes–Gluten Free Pantry, for example–and they came out like a brick. Dry, tough, pretty disgusting. I love Kinnikinnick food, but I was skeptical about the cake mix because I know it’s really difficult to replicate wheat-flour cake with any other grain. But OH MY GOD!! This is like real cake, seriously. It’s light, fluffy, and moist. Truly amazing. I don’t know how they do it.

My family loves the cakes i bake with this mix. They have a delicious flavor and excellent texture. Mixing them couldn’t be easier – just stir the ingredients together. I regularly make cupcakes from this mix. I like to keep them on hand in my freezer. Given a choice between these and cake from a mainstream (gluten) mix, I would choose these, hands down.

This is simply THE best Gluten-Freen chocolate cake mix, period. Light, fluffy. I make cupcakes for the kids in my son’s class for his birthday, and they tell me, “Mrs. Hammer, these are the BEST we’ve ever had.” They have NO idea they are GF. Rich, chocolatey goodness!!
