If I was to make a chocolate cake and cut it into 4 layers and frost each layer with Chocolate ganache, what would go good with this?

Any suggestions would be good, please also say if you have already tried this and how well it turned out.

I am leaning towards things that doesn’t have to be refridgerated for 3-5 Days. But all suggestions are welcome, since most chocolate cake doesn’t last that long any how, lol. =P

i am making a birthday cake for my boyfriend and i want to do a chocolate ganache glaze?

after i pour the chocolate ganache gaze on the cake do i have to put it in the fridge or will it harden by itself? And if it hardens by itself how long will it take before he can cut the cake?

Chocolate syrup cake with Chocolate Ganache frosting?

My mother lost this recipe for this Chocolate cake she thinks Paula Dean made. I have been looking all over the Internet for this recipe and ones like it. All I know is that it has Chocolate Syrup in the cake along with chocolate chips and a Chocolate Ganache frosting. I was wondering if anyone knew of this cake or any info on it.
